Lace Factory Wedding • 09.03.17
Marina + Patrick envisioned a perfect and unique experience for their wedding day. And with having a Lace Factory wedding, that is exactly what they got. The Lace Factory alone is a vision for an industrial chic wedding. A restored brick factory building, with lace and white sheers hanging from the ceiling, this gem is located in Deep River, right across the street from a stop on the Essex Steam Train. So naturally Marina + Pat arranged to have their guests arrive via train. It was like a mini cocktail hour on the way to the ceremony! And kicked the party off early. The couple had decided to do a first look, and while the rain was still hanging in there when it came to be time for the first look, it worked out wonderfully since that meant we got to do it inside, with the exposed brick and beams, and gleaming hardwood floors as our back drop.
During the first look, the couple wanted to read their vows to each other. It was special for them to be able to share this moment with just each other. After that, it was ceremony time! It was a brief, very brief, ceremony delivered by Pat’s Uncle Joe. But they still had enough time to squeeze in some tears and a lot of laughs. We were able to go outside for family photos since the rain had finally stopped, and Marina and Pat were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow. Even though we had done their photos before the ceremony I had to steal them for a couple more under the rainbow and by the river.
Marina and Pat also invited the very fun Chloe the Photobooth Bus from Photobooth Planet to come and entertain the guests. The vintage sea foam green VW bus, with a Photobooth on the inside, was such a hit for everyone!
Another obvious hit was the dancing. I don’t think a minute went by that the dance floor was not packed. I thought Pat had moves and then I noticed his father on the dance floor giving him some serious competition!
These two had one of the most memorable weddings of the season, and I am so happy to share some of my favorite photos from the night. I know they are off to a wonderful start as newlyweds and I’m so happy I was there to watch it all from the beginning.
