Saltwater Farm Vineyard Wedding | Emily + Bryant

June 18, 2023

{Saltwater Farm Vineyard 6.18.23}

When Emily and Bryant met in the middle of the pandemic, they had no idea that a global crisis would lead them to each other. But as fate would have it, they found each other in April 2020, and from there, the rest was history. Their connection was immediate, and it’s easy to see why – when I asked Bryant when he knew Emily was the one, he shared, “Our first eye contact… at that point, everything in life made sense.” How perfect is that? Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of the love they share, and I’m so thankful to have been there to capture it all.

A vineyard wedding at saltwater farm…

The day couldn’t have been more perfect. Emily and Bryant tied the knot at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, one of Mystic, Connecticut’s most stunning wedding venues. The natural beauty of the vineyard, combined with a color palette of soft baby blues, peaches, and creams, set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. It was one of those picture-perfect summer days when everything just clicks.

As a wedding photographer who specializes in capturing candid, emotional moments, I couldn’t wait to get started. From the moment Emily walked down the aisle, with her father by her side, I could tell this day was going to be full of meaningful moments. And of course, there was a special something about Emily’s veil that added to the magic.

A special family keepsake: the veil…

Now, let me tell you about Emily’s veil – it definitely deserved its own moment. This wasn’t just any veil. Emily’s Grammie had made it for her Godmother years ago, and now, on Emily’s wedding day, it was being passed down to her. The symbolism of this family heirloom was not lost on me, and I’m so glad we took a little extra time to photograph it. It was a moment full of love and history, and I can’t wait for Emily and Bryant to look back on these photos and remember that sweet connection.

Romantic newlywed portraits…

As the day unfolded, we took some quiet moments for newlywed portraits. Emily and Bryant’s love was so evident, and I loved the opportunity to capture that intimate connection between them. Their smiles were infectious, and every time they looked at each other, you could feel the joy and excitement of their new journey together. These are the moments that make wedding photography so special for me – capturing raw, emotional connections that tell the couple’s unique love story.

Looking forward to a lifetime of love…

As I look back on Emily and Bryant’s wedding day, I’m filled with so much gratitude. Their love is palpable, and I’m beyond excited to watch their relationship grow and flourish in the years to come. Congratulations, Emily + Bryant – your love story is just getting started!
