17 couples, 16 wedding venues, and a whole lot of love 🖤
I’ve been sitting with my coffee this morning (okay fine, I’m a mom of 2… it’s my third cup 😉), thinking about this past year and feeling so full. The 2024 wedding season was one for the books—seventeen couples, sixteen beautiful venues, countless familiar and new vendor friends, and tens of thousands of photos captured. Honestly? I still can’t believe I get to call this my job.
There’s something really sacred about being invited into a wedding day. It’s not just about pretty portraits or perfect lighting (though, yes please)—it’s about the real stuff. The hand squeezes during the vows. The tearful hugs with grandparents. The stolen glances across a packed dance floor. These are the things that stick with me. These are the things I live to capture.
Every couple I worked with this year brought their own kind of magic. Some weddings were big and bustling, others quiet and intimate. Some took place by the sea here in Mystic (you know how I feel about that coastal light), while others brought me to new corners of Connecticut and beyond. But every single one reminded me why I love this work so much—because at the heart of it all is connection. Real, raw, unfiltered love.
If we worked together this year—thank you. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me to witness your day, for letting me in, and for allowing me to create images that I hope will feel like little works of art for decades to come.
