Karen + Peter’s Double Wedding Day {6.20.20}

The beauty about Karen + Peter’s wedding is that, because of the many changes due to Covid, these two lovebirds actually had two wedding days! Each of them were so incredibly beautiful in their own way. I think we should just start from the beginning.

Wedding #1

Their first wedding date was the day they actually tied the knot! They both got all dressed up, and, surrounded by 12 of their closest friends & family, said “I do!” The intimacy of this wedding day was so special! Watching these two embrace every moment of their day, despite the looming pandemic and unexpected changes, was just so beautiful! They knew this day was about more than all of the details and guest count, and was more about adding a special chapter to their love story!

Wedding #2

A little later on, once Covid restrictions had backed off just a bit, Karen + Peter were able to celebrate among so many more friends and family with a beautiful wedding reception at Litchfield Inn! During the reception, they showed their ceremony video so all that couldn’t be there would see the moment and then they walked into an epic party!! Karen looked absolutely amazing in her wedding dress for the second time, and changed up her look with the most amazing bridal cape! The best part? Even though this was Peter’s second time seeing her in her gown, his reaction was just as amazing! His love for his new wife was so obvious!

I’m always so grateful for each and every couple that trusts me to work so closely with them on their wedding days, but getting the chance to be there for TWO days with Peter + Karen was just unforgettable! Thanks Covid for truthfully enhancing their day and making this chapter of their book even more amazing!

Congrats Karen + Peter, you two really have something special and I am so glad to call you both friends! I cannot wait to watch your love story continue to unfold!
