Jessica + Joshua’s Intimate Wedding in Branford, Connecticut {07.16.20}

So excited to share Jessica + Joshua’s Branford CT wedding day here on the blog, it was a special one! Their wedding plans were completely wrecked by COVID-19, but these two remained calm and focused on the real reason for their day… them. Here’s the story in Jessica’s own words shared to My Mystic Wedding:

“Josh and I were set to get married 6/19/2020, the anniversary of when we met. At the three month mark, COVID started derailing every pre-wedding event and we knew there was no way we’d get married in June. We postponed the wedding to September, but quickly realized that wouldn’t happen either. After looking at dates in 2021, and realizing that the only date available that all of our vendors were available for was July 16th, our official anniversary… we knew it was a sign from God to move the date! We decided to tie the knot this July 16th in front of my immediate family and childhood friends, while Josh’s California family were on Zoom. 2020 has taught us that true love can never be stopped!”

Isn’t that just a beautiful picture of embracing challenges and trusting in LOVE?! I love that despite everything, these two did it and said “I DO” anyways!! It may have been a small ceremony, but it was big big BIG love all around! And all of the details from the beach in Branford CT, to the flowers, gorgeous arch and dress were just perfect… regardless of the last minute changes!
