Before the wedding…

When Kaitlyn reached out to me about photographing her special day at The Riverhouse, I knew I just had to be a part of it. And the more I continued to learn about their big day as it kept approaching, it confirmed my excitement! Kaitlyn and Kevin were not only two of the coolest and sweetest people apart from each other, but together they were a true joy! The love they both share for each other is so unbelievably contagious it rubs off on everyone around them!

I got the chance to work with them a little over a year before their wedding day as well and photograph their engagement photos. During their engagement session, we explored downtown Mystic (with their 2 adorable pups, I might add!), chatted all about their one-of-a-kind love story, sipped some champagne and giggled our way out of sunlight! It was a perfect evening getting to really know these two incredible people before their August wedding a year later.

Every single detail of Kaitlyn and Kevin’s wedding day was, like I said, picture-perfect! From the most quaint room she got ready in, her flower crown and most amazing dress, their tear-filled first look, the large group of best friends they had standing by their side, their sunny ceremony (a true boho dream!!), all of their dreamy couple portraits, to their love-filled reception with the most memorable of moments! Every single minute of their day was perfection and filled with so much love. It truly was an honor and such a privilege to live in the moment and capture their day for them!

Kaitlyn + Kevin, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was one I’ll truly never forget! I hope this first year of marriage has been everything you’ve expected and more!
