On a foggy May afternoon in Connecticut, Elizabeth + Stephen said their “I dos” at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church. The misty weather didn’t dampen their love—it only added to the magic of the day. Their wedding was a beautiful mix of elegance, heartfelt moments, and vintage film vibes.

A perfect wedding day of portraits + celebration…

Elizabeth and Stephen decided to keep the tradition alive by waiting to see each other until the moment she walked down the aisle. The emotional anticipation was palpable as Elizabeth stepped into the church, her eyes meeting Stephen’s for the first time. Their religious ceremony was intimate and meaningful, held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church just minutes from their stunning reception venue.

After their ceremony, we headed to Eolia Mansion at Harkness State Park for portraits while their guests mingled during cocktail hour. The mansion’s breathtaking views provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s portraits, and the soft, foggy atmosphere made everything feel like a dream.

As for Elizabeth’s wedding dress—wow. She chose a breathtaking silk gown with a deep V-neckline and a low back that fit her like a glove. The pearl-embellished veil was the perfect touch, catching the light in all the right ways (I’m sure you’ve seen those iconic “veil shots”!).

The reception kicked off with a stunning champagne tower—such a chic and fun way to toast to the newlyweds! After their first dance as husband and wife, Elizabeth pulled on her customized “Mrs. Clout” denim jacket for some lively photos on the dance floor. The energy was contagious as everyone danced the night away in celebration of the happy couple.
