Take a peek into Sarah and Devin’s beautiful June wedding at Stone Acres Farm in Stonington, Connecticut. It was a perfect day from start to finish, filled with love, laughter, and so many sweet moments I’m excited to share with you!
The morning of…
The morning began with the most relaxed, joyful getting ready moments. Sarah and her girls were in the bridal suite, sipping champagne, laughing, and enjoying every second of the lead-up to the big day. Her silk wedding dress from BHLDN fit her like it was made just for her—timeless and elegant, with delicate details that I know will still be stunning in photos for years to come. Hana Floral Design crafted a breathtaking all-white bridal bouquet that added the perfect pop of fresh, natural beauty.
The ceremony…
Stone Acres Farm, with its gorgeous outdoor setting, provided the most beautiful backdrop for Sarah and Devin’s ceremony. The day was filled with that classic summer warmth, and their ceremony was intimate and personal, with just the right amount of sunshine peeking through the trees. As the couple exchanged vows, you could feel the emotion in the air—every word, every glance between them spoke volumes about their love. I’ll never get tired of witnessing those first moments as a married couple!
My fave moments…
Two moments from the day really stood out to me. First, the family hugs right after the ceremony. There’s just something so magical about seeing a couple surrounded by the people who love them most. It’s those little, real moments that really capture the essence of what a wedding day is all about.
The second moment? Watching Sarah’s dad perfecting his speech. You could see how much he cared for his daughter, and his heartfelt words made everyone teary-eyed. It was one of those moments that made me so grateful to be a part of such an emotional and special day.
After the ceremony, we took some time for Sarah and Devin to have a few quiet moments together. I love taking “just married” portraits in the golden hour light, and Stone Acres Farm’s grounds provided the perfect setting for those dreamy, intimate shots. From their laughter to their tender glances, you could see how deeply they’re in love—and that’s what I always aim to capture in my work: those raw, emotional moments that feel like art.
