{Saltwater Farm Vineyard 8.5.23}
I’m absolutely obsessed with the day I got to spend with Abby and Thomas at one of my all-time favorite wedding venues—Saltwater Farm Vineyard. Seriously, there’s something so magical about this place, and it was the perfect backdrop for this sweet couple’s dream wedding!
From the moment Abby + Thomas got engaged, they knew they wanted a day that felt intimate, relaxed, and filled with those heartfelt moments that you just can’t fake. And let me tell you, every detail of their day was a reflection of who they are as a couple. Their team of vendors was absolutely incredible, bringing their vision to life in the most perfect way.
I love when couples opt for a first look (it’s one of my favorite moments!), and Abby + Thomas were no exception. We were able to spend so much more time together before the ceremony, capturing dreamy portraits in the golden hour light, which is always a favorite part of my day. It gave them the chance to really soak in the moments together, without the rush that often follows after a ceremony. And I have to say, their first look was absolutely beautiful. Thomas’ face lit up the moment he saw Abby, and I couldn’t help but get a little emotional myself!
And then, of course, the ceremony. As Abby made her grand entrance, Thomas couldn’t stop grinning—such a sweet moment that I was lucky enough to capture. That pure, unfiltered joy is what makes wedding photography so meaningful for me. It’s not just about getting the shot—it’s about capturing those authentic, tear-filled, heart-hitting moments.
Vendor love…
I couldn’t recommend this incredible team of vendors more—they made Abby + Thomas’ wedding day run flawlessly. Every detail was on point, from the fresh oysters at the reception to the stunning florals by Bloom Creative & Floral Events, and of course, that delicious cake from A Thyme to Cook (seriously, I’m still dreaming about it).
One of my favorite touches of the day was the oyster bar by Ninigret Nectars—such a unique and fun addition to the reception that really showed off Abby + Thomas’ personalities. Everyone was chatting and laughing, enjoying the delicious oysters while the sunset cast the most gorgeous light over the vineyard.
If I could relive this day over and over, I would. The love between Abby + Thomas was so evident in every moment, and I’m beyond grateful to have been the one to capture it all. From their sweet first look to their joyful ceremony to the fun-filled reception, their day was one for the books!
If you’re looking for vintage, art-inspired wedding photography, I would love to hear from you. Let’s create something beautiful together, just like Abby + Thomas did!
