Okay, can we just take a second to talk about how fun Veronica and Saxon are?! From the second we met up for their engagement session at Harkness Memorial State Park, it was nonstop smiles, laughs, and the kind of energy that makes me so dang grateful I get to do this for a living.
We wandered through the gardens, ran around the open fields, and chased golden hour light like it was our job (well… mine technically 😄). These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera — not because they were posing perfectly, but because they were just being themselves. Silly, sweet, and so in love. Honestly, my favorite kind of session is when we’re just vibing, joking around, and capturing those in-between moments where you can literally see the joy. That was exactly this day.
And now I’m counting down the days until their summer wedding at Newport Vineyards in late July! I already know it’s going to be stunning and full of that same easy, genuine energy that makes their love feel so effortless. Plus, vineyard weddings? Always a yes.
If you’re dreaming of an engagement session that feels more like a fun hangout with your partner (with a camera tagging along), I’m your girl! Whether you’re based near Mystic, Connecticut or planning a coastal New England wedding, I’d love to help capture your story in a way that feels real and you.
