Grace and Seth planned a beautiful Saltwater Farm Vineyard wedding to celebrate their love — a destination day for this Miami-based couple. With the help of some incredible friends, family, and the ever-talented Daly Sanford keeping things perfectly organized, their vision came together just right.
A love that blossomed over time…
Their story didn’t start with instant fireworks — it was a slow burn built on admiration and quirky moments. Seth’s knight-in-shining-armor moment? Braving a swarm of bumble bees just to get Grace some lemonade on the day they met. And when he followed that up with a funny, slightly awkward line, instead of running for the hills, Grace was charmed.
Years later, their first official date was a low-key Dunkin’ run — which Grace insists was a real date, making Seth one happy guy. Even then, Seth knew Grace was the one, but the road ahead wasn’t totally smooth. When Grace moved to Miami, long-distance seemed daunting. But Seth’s wise words — about waiting forever for the right person — helped Grace change her mind.
Their relationship is built on simple joys like woodland walks with Seth strumming his guitar — the exact setting where he proposed, playing “their song” during a New England Thanksgiving weekend, surrounded by family.
Honoring family + strength through the details…
Grace is a strong, passionate woman who channels her experiences into meaningful work. Losing her mother to breast cancer shaped her journey and inspired her advocacy through her Instagram @graceslawksiwrites, her blog #breastcancerfeminist, and the podcast Pink Investigations. Her strength and grace radiated throughout their wedding day.
The ways Grace honored her mother were deeply moving — wearing her mother’s veil, the pearls her dad placed on her that once belonged to her mom, and a bouquet designed to mirror her mother’s. It was a beautiful testament to love, loss, and legacy.
A wedding day to remember…
From morning prep to the last dance, Grace was all smiles and laughter. The couple surprised their guests with a show-stopping entrance — sneaking over to the band setup where Seth played guitar and Grace rocked the drums. Before the wedding, they had played in a band together, and that playful spirit stole the night.
After some epic cake smashing (yep, cake in the face!), we headed outside to capture the couple under the vibrant sunset sky, with the vineyard as a dreamy backdrop.
Grace + Seth, thank you so much for letting me be part of your incredible day. I can’t wait to see where life takes you next!
