Ali + Colby’s Backyard Wedding in Westerly {09.18.20}
Ali + Colby are two of the sweetest souls I had the pleasure of meeting and working with on their wedding day. These two tied the knot and said yes to forever in her dad’s backyard in Westerly, Rhode Island where her brother had just gotten married only 4 weeks prior! To say this day was beautiful was an understatement!
To start off the day, both the girls and the guys got ready at the cozy Margin Street Inn! Ali looked like a real-life princess as her mom and bridesmaids helped her get into her gorgeous ball gown from Alexandra’s Boutique. One of my favorite photos from the day is a black and white shot of her bridesmaids reactions to how gorgeous she looked! Absolutely priceless! Ali chose to have a first look, not only with her groom, but also with her dad. Both were filled with so many smiles, hugs, kisses and tears (from me too!)
Their bridesmaids all wore neutral colored gowns from Show Me Your Mumu and the groomsmen were decked in bright blue suits from Jos. A Bank. They all looked absolutely incredible with their florals by Danielson Flowers, and standing next to their best friends on their wedding day and made for such fun bridal party portraits!
The wedding ceremony was an absolute perfect representation of their love! Ali’s brother, Paul, officiated and, of course, they had to include their adorable french bulldog, Stella as well. Their candid smiles as they exchanged vows, shared in their first kiss and walked back down the aisle as husband and wife were a few of my favorite moments!
They spoiled their guests at their cocktail hour and reception with apple cider, donuts, carmel corn and delicious food by Blue Rocks Catering. And after their intimate first dance, they, along with all of their guests danced the night away!
It truly was a beautiful day filled with some of the most beautiful, kind-hearted people! Ali + Colby, thank you for allowing me to celebrate your love alongside you! So excited to watch your marriage and family grow!
