A colorful August wedding day at the mansion…

Emily + Michael hosted a vintage, turn of the century wedding day at the end of August at the gorgeous Eolia Mansion. If I could olny use a few words to describe their day, it would be: romantic, classic, traditional, colorful, fun and elegant! With over 130 guests present and celebrating their love together, it was bound to be the wedding of the decade!

Emily and her party spent the morning getting ready at Spicer Mansion in Mystic. I love the vintage charm their getting ready space provides! And after Emily slipped into her gorgeous, vintage-style wedding dress by designer, Monique Lhuillier, she was ready to see her groom for the first time. Michael headed over from his hotel to the Spicer Mansion gardens for their first look and his reaction to seeing his bride was just the sweetest! All smiles from ear-to-ear on both of their faces!

After spending so much fun time together taking all kinds of portraits of the soon-to-be newlyweds and their wedding party, we headed over on the Mystic trolley to Eolia Mansion for their romantic garden ceremony and indoor wedding reception. Emily + Michael’s love for each other was so joyful throughout the day, their smiles were overly contagious and they simply couldn’t keep their hands off each other all night long!

It was truly such a joy to be a part of capturing the start of their forever. Congrats you two, here’s to a life of love and JOY!
