Ainslie had a feeling that Tim was the one before they even met.
The minute their mutual friend suggested they get together, she had that “this was it!” feeling. Maybe it was that he backed into a telephone pole, right into a U-Turn on Route 1 after the first date that did it? I’m not sure. But Tim and Ainslie’s fun-loving and laid-back style carried them all the way from their first date to the big day—along with their shared love of Miller Lite 😉 Three years after that fateful first date at the Haversham where they joked and chatted over beers like old friends, Tim popped the question with a beautiful ring he had custom-made from a diamond gifted to him by his mother.
Family and friends continued to play a big role in their life and wedding day. The venue was decorated with stained-glass purple hearts hand-made by Tim’s mother and custom calligraphy was done by a close friend of the bride’s.
Although this couple loves to enjoy the outdoors with summer rides in their Jeep with the top down, their chill attitudes and fun-loving spirits weren’t dampened by the last-minute rain on the wedding day. The couple moved the ceremony inside and the bridal party had a blast thinking up funny and creative poses to do with their umbrellas. This couple loves to laugh; well really Tim loves to make funny faces and make fun of the photographer and Ainslie loves to laugh at him, as you can clearly see in the photographs.
At their Meadow Brook Inn wedding, Ainslie wore a stunning Justin Alexander dress and a breathtaking long veil with lace edging that created a romantic feel while the groom donned a three-piece grey suit.
At the same time, the couple made sure to stay true to their casual style with fun neon signs—including an homage to Miller Lite at this Meadow Brook Inn wedding. After guests had eaten their fill at the buffet, the fun really got underway as they hit the floor for the part of the night Tim and Ainslie were both looking forward to the most: the dance party!
One of Ainslie’s favourite memories from the couple’s life so far is a trip they took to see Zac Brown Band at Fenway Park. She remembers dancing and singing her heart out with Tim and their friends and taking lots of great selfies. On the walk back to their hotel, Tim’s hysterical personality shone as he joked and “stuck his head in every car window” looking for an Uber. I left before the dancing stopped, but I imagine that same thing happened in the parking lot of one Meadow Brook Inn that evening.
Although Tim’s ability to crack jokes on the spot and be a social butterfly are two of the things Ainslie loves most about him, she is also in awe of his work-ethic, courage, and generosity of spirit that shows every day, both in his job on the police force and in his eagerness to help anyone in need. Tim loves Ainslie’s ability to get along with everybody, her caring personality, and that she “puts up with my bullshit”.
When thinking about the future and their shared life together, both Tim and Ainslie look forward to starting a family of their own.
Ainslie dreams of building a dream home that will become a hub for their families, friends, and future generations. They also look forward to travelling together, whether it’s driving all over the country in their Jeep, taking their dogs up to Alaska for a cabin retreat, or sailing around the Greek islands on a yacht. For now, their travels took them to Mexico for a honeymoon in the sun before they began their new life together as husband and wife.
Ainslie + Tim- I had so much fun photographing you two at your perfect Meadow Brook Inn wedding and I can’t even imagine how much love, laughter, and Miller Lite are in your future.
All of my love,
Ames
