Summer Wedding at The Woodwinds | Jessica + Joshua - wedding photographer in CT

Their original big wedding was scheduled for June 2020, but the pandemic had other plans! They quickly realized that wasn’t going to happen and decided to elope on the water in Branford, CT so they didn’t have to push back starting off their marriage!! I was fortunate enough to be a part of that day too, check it out on the blog here!

Finally, exactly one year later… these two got their dream wedding!! About darn time!

The day started off getting ready with Jess + Josh as they anticipated all that was to come and all that they’d both been waiting on for so long! We then headed over to Yale University for the most gorgeous first look and wedding party portraits. Their crew was so much fun and my favorite part was the epic champagne pop with the whole party before we headed over to St. Vincent De Paul church for their classic Catholic ceremony.

After they sealed their vows with a kiss (again!!), we drove over to their gorgeous reception space, The Woodwinds to party the night away!! The details and decor once we walked inside were to die for!! Some of my favorite features were the fun lit-up balloons and the pink flower wall with the neon sign on top! These two celebrated their one year anniversary all night long, after a long time waiting, with all of their friends and family and I felt lucky enough to be there to capture it again!

J + J, thanks for inviting me into your love story, trusting me to capture it twice! I’m so happy your big day finally came! Can’t wait to watch your love continue to grow + evolve over the years!!
