A fairytale wedding day at a castle-like wedding venue in Connecticut

This gorgeous summer wedding day at the Branford House is one that won’t soon be forgotten! Kimberly + Eric are two of the sweetest souls and the love they have for each other took over the entire day! Their day could be described as many things, but the words the couple chose to define their day were… romantic, classic, formal, intimate and elegant. As you look through some of my favorite captures below, I think you’ll see how true that is!

When talking with the engaged couple before their day arrived, Eric + Kim made it clear that they really wanted the focus of their wedding day as a whole to be on their guests and making sure they had a great time! They even chose food based on specific guests and what they knew they would like! How sweet is that?!

The morning started off nothing short of perfect as I spent time with Kim and her lovely ladies as they got primped thanks to Indigo Makeup Artistry! As Kim stepped into her Lillian West gown, she looked like a real-life princess and the gorgeous bridal suite at the Branford House with the most elegant architecture perfect or some stunning bridal portraits.

Their tearful ceremony took place on the Branford House lawn overlooking the water with the breathtaking mansion in the background. But the showstopper was their floral covered arch by Sayles Livingston and petal-lined aisle where Eric would see his bride for the first time! The two exchanged heartfelt vows and shared a first kiss under the summer sun and surrounded by 80-100 of their closest friend and family!

Once the two were officially married (finally!!), they partied all night long and left their reception through a sparkler tunnel which were some of my favorite shots of the day!! Such an incredibly perfect day for the most generous and thoughtful couple!! Congrats Mr. + Mrs. Dow!!!
