Vaughn + Paul are two of the sweetest souls, and their wedding day at Latitude 41 in Mystic, Connecticut was pure magic. Think: golden September light, stunning waterfront views, and a party that didn’t stop until these two made a grand sparkler exit straight onto a boat. (Yes, a boat. Iconic.)
From the second I arrived, I could feel the energy of the day—relaxed but buzzing with excitement. Vaughn was glowing, literally sparkling in her Made with Love Bridal gown from The White Dress by the Shore, and her joy was contagious. She was all smiles getting ready with her girls, and honestly, it set the tone for the entire day.
A ceremony + reception full of love…
The ceremony was held outside, with views of the Mystic River in the background and not a cloud in the sky. Vaughn walked down the aisle with the biggest smile, and Paul’s reaction when he saw her? Let’s just say cue the tears. It was one of those moments that reminds me why I do what I do—those raw, emotional reactions that deserve to be frozen in time.
The ceremony was officiated by Robert Roche, and he did such a beautiful job weaving together their love story with laughter and meaning. Everything felt personal and real.
Now let’s talk about the reception. WOW. The space at Latitude 41 was transformed with lush florals by Wanda Bereidingen, glowing string lights from EZ Occasions, and the most beautiful greenery wall by Greenery and Champagne (aka the perfect photo booth backdrop). Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, and you could feel how much love went into planning it all.
Entertainment Unlimited of New England kept the dance floor packed from the first dance to the last song. Vaughn and Paul danced, laughed, and celebrated with their people like there was no tomorrow. I swear I caught every single guest on the dance floor at some point—it was just that kind of party.
From glam to grand exit…
Vaughn’s glam squad, RefEYEance Makeup and Hair, had the entire bridal party looking effortlessly elegant. The bridesmaids wore silky, golden gowns from Fame and Partners, and the guys were looking sharp in tailored suits from Indochino. Together, the wedding party looked straight out of a magazine (but like, the cool, effortless kind).
One of the most epic parts of the day? The grand exit. After dancing all night, Vaughn and Paul ran through a tunnel of sparklers and hopped right onto a boat. Literal movie moment.
V+P, your wedding was everything: joyful, stylish, emotional, and full of heart. Thank you for trusting me to capture it all—it’s a day I’ll never forget! Here’s to a lifetime of boat rides, dance parties, and unforgettable memories. 💛
