{Great Neck Country Club 10.2.22}
Giulianna and Dante’s wedding was a true masterpiece—an intimate celebration filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds of the Pequot Chapel for their ceremony to the final dance at Great Neck Country Club, their day was nothing short of magical. If you’re dreaming of a wedding day that combines classic elegance with personal touches, look no further than this beautiful celebration in Mystic.
Bridal beauty meets vintage elegance…
Giulianna looked absolutely stunning in her David’s Bridal gown, a perfect blend of timeless beauty and modern flair. The dress had a vintage feel to it, and her vintage-style veil made for some of the dreamiest bridal portraits I’ve ever had the pleasure of capturing. Every frame felt like something out of an old film—soft, emotional, and artful. And I can’t forget to mention her stunning bridal bouquet by Wood and Word Blooms—it complemented her dress perfectly and added such a natural, organic touch to her look.
Fun details that made their day stand out…
One of my favorite fun details from Giulianna and Dante’s day was the cardboard cutout at the reception (yes, another one!!). This seems to be a quirky trend I’m seeing at a lot of weddings lately—and I’m here for it. At Mary + Alex’s wedding, we had a Queen Elizabeth cardboard cutout, and now, Giulianna and Dante brought their own little touch of humor to the dance floor with theirs. It’s always hilarious to see guests pose with it during the wild dancing photos. Scroll through to see if you can resist cracking a smile!
The big moments…
The ceremony at Pequot Chapel was serene and intimate, with the sound of the waves from Mystic Harbor adding a tranquil backdrop to the vows. The natural beauty of the location perfectly matched the couple’s elegant yet laid-back vibe.
After they said “I do,” we all made our way to the Great Neck Country Club for the reception. The space was adorned beautifully by Wood and Word Blooms, whose floral arrangements really brought the venue to life with lush greenery and soft, romantic blooms. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and dancing that didn’t stop until the last song. Guests were able to enjoy the stunning views of the Connecticut River while celebrating this couple’s new chapter.
Giulianna and Dante’s wedding was the perfect mix of elegance, humor, and love. And it was all set against the beautiful backdrop of Mystic. From the vintage-inspired bridal look to the unexpected fun details (hello, cardboard cutout!), their day will always hold a special place in my heart. Congratulations, Giulianna and Dante—thank you for letting me be part of your unforgettable day!
