Jessie and Kyle’s love story is the kind that makes you believe in fate—and a little bit of magic. They dated for seven years before finally tying the knot in July 2021. When I asked them to share their story, their answers came wrapped in heart emojis and exclamation points. These two are so deeply in love, and it all started on a girl’s night out at the casino, just months after they began dating.
Jessie told me about that night with such emotion—she was getting ready with her girlfriends when she suddenly blurted out that she thought she loved Kyle, tears in her eyes! The very next week, they dropped the “L-word” officially, and Jessie said, “I always knew in my heart he was the one.”
The perfect proposal (that totally caught jessie off guard!)…
Kyle’s proposal was just as sweet and thoughtful as you’d hope. He’s a bit shy, especially when all eyes are on him, but he wanted to give Jessie something big and special. With the help of Jessie’s sister and friends, he planned a girl’s night at a local winery featuring a live band.
When the band started playing “their song,” Kyle appeared, dropped to one knee, and popped the question right there in front of everyone. The whole winery erupted in cheers when she said yes! Talk about a proposal that will live in their memories forever.
A wedding day worth waiting for…
After a year-long delay thanks to the pandemic, Jessie and Kyle’s big day finally arrived—and you could feel how ready they were. Their first look was full of smiles and tears, pure emotion captured in every frame. When Kyle saw Jessie walking down the aisle at their stunning beach ceremony, it was like the first time all over again. His smile lit up the entire shoreline.
Jessie’s wedding style perfectly balanced romantic and moody vibes. She added unique butterfly details that fluttered through the dark, dramatic floral arrangements crafted by The Wild Gyp. Their wedding cake by Pastry Fusions was a showstopper, and the reception at Anthony’s Ocean View could not have been more perfect. Every detail came together beautifully.
I say this after every wedding I shoot, but I’ll never stop being grateful to call this “work.” Jessie and Kyle, your day was worth every second of the wait. I can’t wait to watch your love and family grow in the years to come!
