From girl’s night at the casino to their wedding day at Anthony’s Ocean View…
Jessie + Kyle dated for a long 7 years before finally tying the knot in July of 2021. And when I asked them about their love story in a questionnaire, their sentences were filled with so many exclamation points and heart emojis… these two are so in love and it all started with a girl’s night out at the casino just a few months after they started dating. Jessie said she was with her girlfriends getting ready and bursted out that she thinks she loves Kyle while her eyes were filled with tears! The following week, they officially dropped the “L-word” to each other and after that, in her words: I always knew in my heart he was the one!”
Kyle shared a bit about their proposal with me, which I have to admit, he did an awesome job planning all while keeping her completely clueless!! He said although he’s a little shy when it comes to being the center of attention, he knew she wanted something big and special, so he had to try to give her what she deserved (come on people, how sweet is that?!). With the help of Jessie’s sister and friends, they planned a girl’s night (I’m seeing a theme here!) at a local winery who had a live band playing. Once they started playing “their song,” Kyle came out, dropped to a knee and popped the question in front of the winery full of people!! As soon as she said yes the entire place erupted in cheers. Talk about a special night to remember!!
After a year-long postponement thanks to the pandemic, their big day finally came and they both couldn’t have been more ready. Their first look together was filled with so many smiles and tears and when Kyle saw Jessie come down the aisle at their beach ceremony, it was like he hadn’t seen her already. His smile could be seen for miles! I love how Jessie was able to incorporate both a romantic and moody feel into her wedding day with unique butterfly elements mixed in with their dark and moody floral arrangements. Their cake from Pastry Fusions was just incredible and Anthony’s Ocean View made for the absolute perfect reception venue.
I say this after every single wedding, but I’ll never stop being thankful to call this “work!” Congratulations Jessie + Kyle, it was a long time coming, but SO worth the wait!! Cannot wait to watch your family and love grow over the years!
