This gorgeous summer wedding day at the Branford House is one that won’t soon be forgotten! Kimberly + Eric are two of the sweetest souls, and their love for each other truly took over the entire day. If I had to sum up their wedding vibe, the words they chose were romantic, classic, formal, intimate, and elegant. As you scroll through some of my favorite moments, I think you’ll see exactly why.
Putting guests first in their thoughtful celebration…
Before the big day, Kim and Eric made one thing very clear: their wedding was all about their guests having the best time possible. So sweet, right? They even picked food with specific friends and family in mind. That level of thoughtfulness set the tone for a day full of warmth and joy.
The morning started off perfectly. I joined Kim and her lovely ladies as they got ready, glowing under the talented hands of Indigo Makeup Artistry. When Kim slipped into her stunning Lillian West gown from Melissa Ashley Bridal, she looked like a true princess. The bridal suite at the Branford House—with its elegant architecture and soft light—made for dreamy portraits.
An emotional ceremony surrounded by nature…
The ceremony was held on the Branford House lawn, overlooking the shimmering water with the grand mansion as a backdrop. The highlight? A breathtaking floral arch by Sayles Livingston, dripping with blooms, and a petal-lined aisle where Eric first saw his bride. It was a tearful, heartfelt moment filled with love and surrounded by 80-100 close friends and family.
Kim and Eric exchanged their vows under the summer sun, sharing their first kiss as husband and wife in the most beautiful, intimate way.
Celebrations + sparker send off…
After they were officially married (finally!!), the party kicked off and didn’t stop all night. The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and pure joy. One of my absolute favorite moments? Their sparkler exit. Walking through a tunnel of glowing sparklers created magic and gave me some of the most stunning shots of the day.
It was such an incredible day for one of the most generous and thoughtful couples I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Congratulations again, Mr. + Mrs. Dow!!
