{Jonathan Edwards Winery Wedding 9.3.21}
If you’re looking for a wedding that’s equal parts romantic, emotional, and full of joy—you need to scroll through Kristen + Costa’s wedding at Jonathan Edwards Winery. This September day was one of those weddings that just felt like magic from start to finish. Gorgeous light, sentimental details, the sweetest couple, and a golden hour that literally made me gasp. It was the perfect mix of elegant vineyard charm and heartfelt celebration.
And let me tell you—these two were surrounded by so much love it was impossible not to get caught up in it. Between happy tears, laughter that echoed through the vines, and one unforgettable flower girl moment (you’ll see what I mean!), I was so lucky to be there capturing every second of it with my vintage-inspired lens.
Getting ready moments that felt like art…
Kristen got ready at the winery, and the morning light pouring into the bridal suite was chef’s kiss. Her dress—oh my gosh, her dress—was from Made With Love Bridal and it fit like it was made for her. She found it at White Dress by the Shore, and it had this romantic off-the-shoulder vibe with delicate details that looked straight out of a dream. She paired it with floral-embellished veil magic and sparkly Jenny Yoo snakeskin heels that added just the right touch of personality.
Her bridesmaids were stunning in mismatched shades of blue from BHLDN, each one carrying effortlessly pretty bouquets by A Gala Affair. The colors popped perfectly against the winery backdrop—it was like a soft watercolor painting come to life.
Meanwhile, Costa got ready nearby with his guys, rocking deep navy suits from Joseph A. Bank. His solo portraits had this quiet, moody vibe (some of my favorite frames of the day). Just so much anticipation and calm energy before the whirlwind of the ceremony.
A ceremony filled with heart + family…
The ceremony took place outside in the vineyard, framed by soft September light and rows of green vines. But the best part? Costa’s grandmother was their flower girl and made the most adorable, unforgettable entrance of all time. Everyone was smiling through tears—myself included.
Kristen and Costa said their vows under a handmade wooden arbor (crafted by Costa’s uncle!) and adorned with flowers by A Gala Affair. It was personal, sweet, and so emotional. Once they were officially married (!!), the two practically skipped back down the aisle—pure joy in motion.
Golden hour portraits + one epic tent party…
After the ceremony, we snuck away into the vines for some golden hour bride + groom portraits, and let me tell you—the light was unreal. That soft vineyard glow, the way Kristen’s veil caught the wind, Costa holding her close… it all felt like a movie scene.
The reception took place under a beautiful sailcloth tent big enough to host all 145+ of their favorite people. Morin’s Catering served up a killer dinner, Dawson Entertainment Production kept the dance floor full all night, and there was just this infectious joy everywhere. Kristen and Costa didn’t stop smiling, dancing, and celebrating for one second.
The night ended with a sparkler sendoff that lit up the night sky—and then they were off to honeymoon in Greece. Literal dream.
