Sarah + Thadius’ June wedding at Mystic Seaport was like something out of a storybook. With soft, romantic hues of blush and blue and that dreamy golden hour light, the entire day felt like an old film come to life—exactly the kind of emotional, vintage-inspired imagery I love capturing as a Mystic, Connecticut wedding photographer.

From start to finish, this day was full of sweet moments, stunning details, and so much love. Seriously, just wait until you see Sarah’s veil.

Getting ready moments…

Sarah looked absolutely breathtaking in her halter neck, all-lace Maggie Sottero gown from Mariella’s Creations. The real star though? Her cathedral-length veil, trimmed in lace, that floated in the breeze like something out of a dream. It was the star of so many of their portraits and added that extra touch of vintage elegance to every photo.

The glam team from Uptown Salon made sure Sarah and her girls looked flawless all day. The bridesmaids wore soft blue gowns from Azazie, while Thadius and his groomsmen kept it classic in sleek black tuxes from Generation Tux.

A seaside mystic ceremony + tented reception…

The ceremony took place right by the water under the most beautiful driftwood arch, adorned with romantic florals by Pot of Green. It was simple, coastal, and so personal—officiated by Ray Withers-Tong, with live music by Nathan Glenister that added the perfect touch of charm and emotion.

Their vows were tearjerkers (yes, I got misty behind the camera), and the way they looked at each other said everything.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to a sailcloth tent on the Mystic Seaport property, beautifully draped by EZ Occasions and lit up by Spin Enterprises. It was airy, romantic, and perfectly coastal.

Coastal Gourmet served up the most delicious dinner, followed by a stunning cake from Creative Cakes by Donna. And when it was time to dance? FM Productions absolutely brought the party. The dance floor was full all night, and I loved capturing those wild, joy-filled moments under the glowing lights.
