Lesley and Gary’s love story began where neither of them expected—La Luna Restaurant in Mystic. Lesley was behind the bar that night, and Gary instantly felt drawn to her. What started as a casual connection quickly grew into something special. After their first date, they spent the next two evenings together—they simply couldn’t get enough of each other.
Not long into dating, they both knew they had found their person. One quiet winter night, as twinkle lights glowed on the Christmas tree, Gary played Train’s “Marry Me”, dropped to one knee, and asked Lesley to be his forever. She said yes, and just like that, the next chapter of their story began.
A winvian farm wedding filled with romance…
Fast forward to a warm June day at Winvian Farm, and their wedding felt like something out of a storybook. The summer palette—soft blues, purples, and peach—brought a light, romantic feel to the day. Lesley wore the most stunning off-the-shoulder lace gown from The White Dress by the Shore, complete with a dramatic train that added a touch of timeless elegance.
Their indoor reception space absolutely glowed. Soft twinkle lights wrapped around the room, casting the dreamiest light over every moment. It made their wedding photos feel even more romantic—like little works of vintage-inspired art.
From the moment they saw each other to the final song on the dance floor, Lesley and Gary’s wedding was full of joy, emotion, and so much love. It was one of those days that just felt right—easy, warm, and full of meaning. Capturing their story through the lens was such an honor, and it’s a day I’ll never forget.
