The Inn at Longshore Wedding | Katrina + Brian

I am so excited to share Katrina and Brian’s breathtaking October wedding at The Inn at Longshore in Westport, Connecticut. The day was filled with romance, moody vibes, and an undeniable electricity between these two. If you love vintage-inspired, emotional imagery, you’re going to fall head over heels for this one!

The couple chose a powder blue color scheme for their wedding, and let me tell you—it was the perfect shade. It popped against the stunning waterfront views and added a soft, romantic touch to their elegant celebration. Blue can be a tricky color to pull off, but Katrina and Brian nailed it.

The timeless mood of their day…

From the very beginning, I knew this day was going to be special. There was this timeless drama in the air, and it made everything feel like a classic love story. That vibe carried through in the photos too, which is why you’ll see a lot of black and white shots in the final gallery. I edited many of the images with a moody, vintage feel to really highlight that old-school cinematic quality that Katrina and Brian’s day had.

There was a softness to their love, but also this fierce energy that was impossible to ignore. It was truly “made for each other” energy—the kind that jumps off the photos. Every moment was so real, raw, and beautiful, and I loved being able to capture it all. Whether it was the way Brian looked at Katrina during their first look or the quiet moments they shared together at sunset, this day was one for the books.

Details that made their wedding shine…

The wedding day itself was a dream from start to finish. The florals by Flowers by Danielle were absolutely stunning, adding rich textures and pops of soft blooms that complemented the overall romantic vibe. Katrina looked radiant in her dress from The White Dress by the Shore, while her bridesmaids were equally gorgeous in their dresses from Azazie. Brian and his groomsmen, looking sharp as ever, wore suits from The Suit Shop. Everyone was picture-perfect, and it was easy to see how much thought had gone into every detail.

And let’s not forget about the cake from Lovely Cakes! It was not only a work of art but also so delicious. It was a sweet touch to end the night on a high note. The DJ, Dan Moran, kept the energy up all night, ensuring the dance floor was packed for hours. Oh, and if you’re looking for a fun addition to your wedding, I highly recommend New England Photo Booth. It’s always a hit!

Katrina and Brian’s wedding was everything I love about shooting weddings—emotional moments, gorgeous details, and a vibe that feels timeless. I am so grateful I got to be a part of their big day, and I’m honored to share their story with you.

Every wedding I get to photograph is a unique story, but there’s something so special about capturing a couple who radiates love like Katrina and Brian do. Their wedding will forever be one of my favorites!
