You know those couples who just get each other? That’s Jessica and Kyle. From their very first pizza-and-Coronas date back in 2012, they’ve been building a love story that’s equal parts adventure, laughter, and deep connection. After nearly a decade together—surviving long distance and all the ups and downs of post-college life—they now call New England home. And what better place to celebrate this next chapter than in beautiful Downtown Mystic, Connecticut?
Jessica and Kyle are the kind of couple who make you believe in forever love. They met at the University of Delaware, became best friends, and then long-distance soulmates after graduation. For years, they lived six hours apart, soaking up every weekend visit and dreading every goodbye. Jessica told me she knew Kyle was “her person” early on. Every time they had to part ways, it felt like a piece of her was missing. Cue the tears!
After seven years of dating, Kyle popped the question on August 23, 2019, at sunset on Bluff Point—Jessica’s favorite spot. It was simple, meaningful, and so them. Now, they’re planning their November wedding at the gorgeous Saltwater Farm Vineyard in Stonington, CT (yes please!).

It was everything I love as a photographer. We started by the iconic drawbridge, wandered the waterfront, and captured those quiet, candid moments that feel like art. Jessica and Kyle are so naturally in sync—it made photographing them feel effortless. Their love has this calm, grounded energy that comes through in every frame.
Next, we headed to a local brewery where they cracked open a couple of beers and pulled out a game of Yahtzee (yes, really!). I mean, could they be any cuter? It was the perfect reflection of their relationship—simple, cozy, and full of laughter. These photos are going to be such a sweet reminder of this season of life.
