When Roz and Matthew decided to say “I do” on a crisp late October day, they chose the Providence Public Library as the backdrop for their celebration. It couldn’t have been more perfect. This Rhode Island gem is the ideal mix of cozy and moody, with its historic architecture creating a dreamy setting for a wedding day filled with emotion and timeless beauty.

Getting ready at hilton providence…

Before the big moment at the library, I met up with Roz and Matthew at the Hilton Providence for their getting ready photos. There’s always something so special about these moments—whether it’s the quiet anticipation or the excited energy filling the room—and these two were absolutely glowing. The joy and excitement were contagious! I could already tell their day was going to be one for the books.

A first look moment we love…

After everyone was ready, it was time for their first look at a nearby park. The setting was simple but stunning, with green grass, towering trees, and the natural beauty of the outdoors. It was a perfect contrast to the grand, historic architecture of the library. Their portraits were a dream, and the light streaming through the trees felt almost magical. It was one of those moments where everything just clicks—the love, the light, the setting. Pure wedding magic!

A beautiful + emotional ceremony…

Roz and Matthew’s ceremony was as beautiful as it was emotional. They worked with their officiant to craft a ceremony that felt deeply personal and reflective of who they are as a couple. I had to hold back a few tears myself as they exchanged vows, and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one! It was clear how much these two adore each other, and that emotion came through in every moment.

Once the vows were said and the ceremony wrapped up, it was time to head to the reception, and oh, what a reception it was! The historic library was transformed into a warm, welcoming space where everyone was ready to celebrate Roz and Matthew’s new chapter together. The florals from The Dirt Empress were absolutely stunning! They added a natural touch that blended perfectly with the library’s grand atmosphere. And as the night went on, the energy picked up—thanks to the awesome tunes from Night Shift Entertainment and the delicious food by Russell Morrin, the dance floor was packed all night long.
