Tatiana + Jake’s Dreamy Yacht Engagement in Watch Hill

Okayyy, this engagement session? Straight. Out. Of. A. Magazine. Tatiana + Jake planned the most romantic, movie-worthy evening for their Watch Hill engagement session, and I seriously will never get over it. From a cozy beachside picnic to golden hour on their yacht (!!), every moment felt like a dreamy vintage film—and I was lucky enough to capture every second.

We started at the beach in Watch Hill, Rhode Island—just a short drive from Mystic, Connecticut and one of my absolute favorite spots for engagement photos. Tatiana + Jake came fully prepared with their signature style and a few of their favorite things: a cozy blanket, a vintage record player, champagne and flutes, and yes—their adorable pups. It was giving “romantic Friday night in,” but make it luxury.

After soaking up golden hour with their pups, we strolled over to their convertible for some editorial-style, vintage-inspired portraits (windswept hair and all—truly iconic). From there, we made our way to the dock where their yacht was waiting. Talk about leveling up an already-perfect evening! We started with some cuddly champagne shots on the bow, just soaking in the light and calm of the water.

And then… they jumped in. Fully clothed. Yes, really. And yes—it was every bit as dreamy and cinematic as it sounds. The resulting water shots? Sexy, romantic, spontaneous—everything you want from engagement photos that actually feel like you.
