Haley + Mark met at Springfield College when Mark was a senior and Haley was a junior. They first met on a beautiful day in Massachusetts; Mark was outside throwing a football with his friends and Haley spotted him, walked right up and said “want me to teach you how to throw a football?” Mark admitted to being so caught off guard by her statement and from that second he knew he needed to get to know her. In March of 2019, while vacationing in the Dominican Republic, the two of them got engaged under the sunset and the rest is history!
To really take a look into their sweet love story, I wanted you to hear from them what they love about each other. When I asked Mark what he admires most about Haley, this is what he said:
“I admire how amazing of a woman she truly is. She is like a gift from the heavens, she’s the best thing to have ever happened to me. Haley is such a hardworking driven woman and I admire that about her. She really is just the perfect woman. She makes everything better and she really is my missing piece. I call her my secret sauce. Having her by my side gives me the confidence to be the person I am today.”
Like are you kidding, could that be any sweeter?! I asked Haley the same question as well as what she thinks his best three qualities are, and this was her answer:
“I admire Mark’s devotion towards not only myself but my family as well. He would do anything to protect my family and to make them happy. He’s a rock and he proves this time and time again. My favorite three qualities are that he is fiercely loyal, hardworking, passionate. And he is obviously incredibly handsome!!”
Haley + Mark chose to have their engagement session at Napatree Point in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Haley’s vision was a mix of sexy + romantic and light + fun all while exploring the gorgeous vegetation and golden, sunset light of the Watch Hill beach! Golden hour was the perfect time for their sunset photos. They started in casual outfits with the gorgeous sunlight hitting her white dress and ended during dusk on the rocks for the most epic formal shots. The wind even came out just in time making for some AMAZING photos!
These two seriously were so fun to work with and made my job so easy! I cannot wait for their beautiful wedding day at Farmington Gardens on October 1st! It’s about time!!
